Product Description

• Dual net uses two thickness of net strand in a tubular net. Fill with graded seed mussels.  Thin strands retain  the seed mussels.  Mussels grow through the thin net strands and the thicker strands  contract and become a load bearing rope in the centre of the shell mass. The  colony can  be taken through to maturity on a  dropper of 10m length.

For droppers longer than 10metres, insert a  10mm/12mm PP rope for greater security.  Shorter than 10m , dual net  is self supporting.


Respect the environment. Recycle old net after harvest.
